Product Introduction

This 20 tons  electric rail transfer cart utilizes advanced low voltage railway power supply technology. Its working principle involves stepping down 380V AC power to a safe 36V through a transformer, then adjusting and boosting the voltage through the rails. The electrical energy is then introduced into the onboard control box via a conductive device, thereby driving the entire cart.

The overall dimensions of the cart are approximately 1600×1500×500 mm, adjustable to meet specific factory needs. The equipment not only has an extremely low operating threshold but also exhibits exceptional stability during startup, travel, and braking. Its low-chassis body design perfectly meets the high frequency, heavy load continuous operation requirements of the workshop.

Structure and Components

Box-beam frame: The entire body adopts a box-beam structure with extremely high impact resistance and deformation resistance. This structure can evenly distribute the 20-ton load and is not prone to structural distortion even under long-term heavy loads.

Customized platform: Addressing the pain point of cylindrical materials such as copper coils being prone to rolling and slipping, the platform is specially equipped with a detachable V-shaped frame. It can securely lock the copper coils to prevent them from tipping over during transportation; when transporting flat materials, the V-shaped frame can be disassembled at any time, making the vehicle versatile.

Power supply system: As the core power supply system of the electric rail transfer cart, the wheels have extremely high insulation performance to prevent current leakage;  carbon brushes and conductive posts are tightly fitted to the rails, ensuring stable current transmission even in dusty workshops.

Safety System: During cart operation, high-decibel audible and visual warning lights flash simultaneously to alert personnel along the route. Emergency stop buttons are conveniently located around the cart, allowing for immediate power cut-off in emergencies to ensure personnel and product safety. Operating Instructions:

Loading Materials: Place the copper coil vertically in the V-shaped frame on the table, ensuring that the center of gravity is centered and the placement is stable.

Operation Control: The operator can control the machine via a wireless remote control or the onboard handle. A light press of the direction key will smoothly start the cart.

Arrival and Unloading: Once the cart reaches the designated process position, release the control key; the electric rail transfer cart will automatically and smoothly brake. Use workshop cranes or hoisting equipment to remove the copper coil.

Q: Is the V-shaped frame fixed on the deck? What if I need to transport flat materials?
A: The V-shaped frame is detachable. For copper or steel coils, keep it on to prevent rolling. For flat loads like pallets or boxes, simply remove it and the deck becomes a flat surface. One cart, two uses.

Q: The rail transfer carts low voltage. Is there a shock hazard if people step on it?
A: No. The rail operates at a safe 36V, which is below the human body's safe voltage threshold. In addition, the wheels are insulated to prevent any current leakage to the cart body, ensuring personnel safety in the work area.
