Typical Scenario – Mold Docking with a Press
Mold Retrieval: The operator uses the wireless remote to drive the empty steerable transfer cart into the mold storage area. After aligning the track on the table with the groove at the bottom of the mold, the operator moves the vehicle to bring the front of the mold onto the track. Then, a crane or workshop hoist is used to pull the mold completely above the table, and the intelligent towing hook locks it in place.
Transfer: Proceed to the stamping machine at a constant speed of 10-15 m/min, with audible and visual warning lights activated throughout. It can rotate 360° on the spot to navigate 90° right-angle bends.
Docking: Align the rear of the cart with the stamping machine's worktable and switch to the wired handle for millimeter-level inching. Once the table rails are aligned with the stamping machine guide rails, remotely unlock the traction hook, and the mold will be smoothly slid into the stamping machine by a pneumatic pusher or manual traction.
Charging: The steerable transfer cart is equipped with a battery level display. It will issue an alert when the battery level drops below 20% (a set threshold). It can be charged using a portable charger during lunch breaks or work intervals, depending on actual production needs.
